I would never expect them to just sit and pose. I know how to work with movement, excitement and short attention spans. Some of the most beautiful images come from dogs simply being themselves.

“My Dog isn’t well trained enough”

The truth is…

No need to worry at all! They definitely don't have to be well-trained. Even dogs that listen perfectly at home can get overwhelmed or distracted in a new environment and that is completely normal. The key is just to relax and let them be themselves.

How it works…

  • Step 1. Booking and Planning

    Reserve your session. We will have a short complimentary planning call to discuss your dog, your style and your vision if you are opting for artwork.

  • Step 2. Studio Session

    Nestled next to the peaceful Wey and Arun Canal in Loxwood, our studio offers a calm, dog-friendly environment designed to put every pet at ease. Each session is tailored to last one to two hours, providing plenty of time for nervous or excitable dogs to settle in, explore and feel completely at home.

  • Step 3. Viewing and Artwork Session

    You are warmly welcomed back to the studio to view your fully edited images on a calibrated screen and choose your artwork with my help. This is when the Session Day pricing applies for the collections.

  • Step 4. Collection

    Once your handcrafted artwork arrives at the studio, we will quality check everything before we arrange collection. Framed pieces and folios take around 4-6 weeks and Photographic prints take 2 weeks.

Sara provided such a professional experience from start to finish. We weren't sure what to expect as our dog is very high energy and can be sensitive to noises. Sara spent part of the session desensitizing him to anything that might have made him nervous and she knew how to manage his energy. She was able to completely capture our dogs personality and it was so hard to choose what photos we wanted printed! We couldn't recommend her more and the results speak for themselves.
