Yes! In fact most of the dogs I photograph don't sit still.
Whether they are high-energy, easily distracted, or just prefer to keep moving, we use a mix of action pacing, engaging sounds and plenty of treats to capture their true personality. -
I always recommend a short walk right before the session to burn off some excess energy, which I find always helps. When you arrive, your dog will also have plenty of time to sniff and explore their new surroundings to get comfortable.
Even so, some high-energy dogs never truly "settle" and that's not a problem at all. Instead of fighting their momentum, we adapt by shifting our tone and pacing to keep the session as calm, low-pressure, and fun as possible. We work with whatever energy your dog brings on the day to capture authentic, beautiful moments.

With extra patience, space and zero pressure!
Before we ever meet, we’ll talk in-depth about what makes your dog anxious and what helps them feel safe .On the day of the session, there is never any rush. Your dog will get plenty of time to adjust to the studio environment and we will work entirely at their pace. We never force poses or close-ups and breaks happen whenever they need them.
The goal is to keep the experience completely relaxed and stress-free for them, because a comfortable dog always photographs best.
